Sunday 10/28/07 - 9 months old!

Adley is officially 9 months old already.
She's had her 9 month checkup and is up to date on all her shots (No fun!)
She weighs in at 20 pounds, 5 oz.
She's had her second haircut and will probably need a third before Christmas.
We are growing and changing all the time in this household.

Adley wore this 50's style outfit to church on Sunday.
All she needs is a poodle on that gray skirt of hers.

The sweater and skirt were separates that combined for a very stylish outfit...
(if Mom does say so herself!)

A little known fact: in honor of Reformation Day, Adley was wearing her "Little Lutheran" onesie underneath her sweater just in case she got cold.

Sunday 10/21/07

We just had to get some pictures of Adley in this white jumper and matching jacket. The outfit is a family heirloom. Grandma Mary made it for Adley's daddy when he was born. Of course, with Grandma Mary's embroidered flowery socks and a white hair bow the look was not only feminine but pure ADLEY!

Pumpkin Patch - 10/18/07

Adley and Mommy helped work a shift at the Zion Pumpkin Patch this past Thursday. It was a very windy day, but warm and sunny and we enjoyed the fresh air.

They even had some straw to play in.
And of course, lots of pumpkins to choose from.

Sunday Photo Shoot - 10/14/07

She received rave reviews at church -- the reviews were mostly for her singing, though, not the outfit. She loves to sing along (louder) than the organ at church!

Grandma & Grandpa's visit - Part II

After a full day at the museum we were all ready for some relaxing time at home. Adley helped Grandma read the new Peek-a-boo book from Grandma & Grandpa.

Then it was play time.
Since Adley enjoys emptying out her toy bin so much, we found a new game:
playing in the toy bin!

Grandma & Grandpa's visit

On Monday night, Grandma & Grandpa came to visit. On Tuesday, we took them to the Museum of Science and Industry. First, we had a picnic in the park. Then we toured the museum in the afternoon. Grandma helped Adley read part of the U-505 exhibit.

Phillips Park - 10/4/07

On our way to meet Daddy, the meeting was canceled, so we had an impromptu family fun afternoon to visit Phillips Park.

First we toured the sunken garden which is still beautiful for this time of year.

Then we saw lots of animals at the zoo.

But the best part is just being a family!
