Train Day!

Preschool families were invited to ride the train at the Andermann Family Railroad.
It was warmer than our last ride here in October and we all had a great afternoon.

When he wasn't riding Simeon was checking out the engines that were parked. 

Mr. Andermann offered to show Simeon how to blow the whistle...

...and made a friend for life!

And Adley had a chance to drive the train.  She loved it.  

Her only comment: "It wasn't that hard."

Adley's last homework writing assignment was to read a fractured fairytale book and write a 30 second commercial about the book (reading rainbow style).  It was optional that they dress in character to present their commercial to the class.  Adley dressed as Cindarella with the blond hair.  Thanks Auntie Anna for the wig. 

Soccer Season 2015 - Cana celebrates

For the last soccer practice of the season Coach Brad handed out medals, popsicles and ice cream.  Coaches Brad and Froggy said that Cana showed some moves on the soccer field (her famous "pull back" and that she was the best listener on the team.

Kindergarten Camp

Kindergarten Preview Camp starts today.

May 26-29 incoming kindergartners could attend a camp from 8:30am - 1:00pm at Bethany to learn what it was like to be a kindergartner.  They brought their lunch to eat in the class room and hung their backpacks in the hallway cubbies and met many of their future classmates.

Preschool Dress-up

Dress-up days this year included sports day (Cana wore her soccer jersey from last year), beach day, patriotic day, costume day, pajama day and another swimwear day to play in the water.

Last Week of Preschool 2 for Simeon

The last week of Preschool 2 and the kids could dress in beach wear. 

They had water play and a picnic.

Adley's Soccer

After Cana's game we all went home to dry out and warm up.  A quick lunch and it was back to Adley's game which was HOT.  Full sun and not a raincloud in sight.  Adley played a great game and enjoyed Grandpa and Grandma cheering her on.  Then it was home for a burger BBQ.
