It was a hot day and after quiet time in the AC it was time for sprinklers.  Simeon had a blast directing the spray at his sisters.

The students finished the Royal 26.2 in the morning and spent the afternoon playing games outside.

Graduation Party

We were invited to a graduation party with friends and we had a great time celebrating. We ate a great picnic outside while the kids played bags or watched the animals.  The tortoise was out on the other side of the fence and there was a friendly puppy too.

After supper we took an after hours tour of the Phillips Park Zoo.  Simeon is pointing at the Bald Eagle.

After cake the kids went on a golf cart ride with Mr. Randy and Daddy.  Then the whole group took a tram ride around the park.  Simeon decided it was a choo-choo-train!

When we left we were well fed, tired and the kids went straight into the bath.  It was a great day!

Preschool Achievement Night

Achievement Night

We celebrated with Cana on the completion of a successful preschool year. The three and four year old classes sang several songs and made us laugh.  Cana made us proud.  She knew all the words and motions.

Simeon slept through the first half of the program and then sat with Daddy when the applause finally woke him up.

After the program the families stayed for a cookie and punch reception.  The girls asked if they could have the school bus cookies.  I agreed before I saw them...

Dress-Up Days

Preschool finished with several dress-up days and plenty of fun. Cana added her own flair to each day. Left to right: Hat day (a cowboy hat needs a horse and a lasso belt)

Crazy Day (princess dress because you can wear whatever you want!)

Beach Day (swimsuit with UV top, extra water bottle and lunch)

Favorite Color Day (mostly blue but I think she ended up with every color).

Library Story Time and Play Day

Simeon and Mommy went to story time at the Naperville Library and found that the Childrens' Museum was visiting with traveling exhibits just for toddlers.  Yes!

Time for a bath?

Soccer

Our soccer season was off to a slow start due to cold, rain and snow.  But were ready for spring now and out at the park 4 days a week!  More pictures to come.

Simeon loves to play ball.  

He loves to be on the field and he is learning to stay outside of the white lines.

Happy Mothers Day

Confirmation service in the morning with friends and a relaxing afternoon.  

Adley made me a custom stationery set and a mini colander.

Cana made me some beautiful artwork and wrapped new silicone whisks.

Simeon gave Mommy a 2 hour nap and a wrapped travel coffee mug.

Daddy woke up before dawn to make my favorite dessert - raspberry pretzel dessert - so it would have time to set.
