Grammy is Here!

Grammy arrived on Thursday night and set right to work spoiling the girls.  She brought dress-up sets and her ABBA CD so the girls were all set for a dance party.

Grandma thought Cana should try on Adley's pettiskirt.  At first Cana wasn't so sure since she knew it belonged to sister.  Then she twirled a bit and decided she liked it - A LOT.

New Year - New Bike

She loves it and it is a much better size for her ever-growing long legs.  Of course, the basket, pinkwheel and streamers that Daddy decorated it with aren't bad either.

Lutheran Schools Week

This was a big week for us at church, at school and at home.  Our preschool scheduled themed dress-up for each day of the week.
Monday - School T-shirt day
Tuesday - Disney Day so Adley could wear her Aurora dress
Wacky Wednesday - Adley wore two different socks, two different shoes and her clothes inside out.  I"m still looking for a photo.
Thursday and Friday were grandparents days which we missed because Adley wasn't feeling well.

Adley is fine now and looking forward to all of the grandparents days we'll have at our house in April!

Do we like pink?

Our warm weather has brought lots of opportunities to play out on the balcony.  The girls made themselves right at home and spent all afternoon out there.  We love spring!

As part of Wacky Wednesday, Adley's class made bead necklaces and Adley was sweet enough to make her sister one too.  Cana loves it.  And it matches her outfit perfectly.

Getting Ready for Baby part 2

The next step to getting ready for baby - a paper chain to count down the days.  We made a chain 28 links long with a green link for the day Grammy arrives from CA and a yellow link for when baby arrives.  The chain reaches all the way to the floor and puddles at the bottom - so we have plenty of time, right?

Dad's Day at Preschool

Dad's Day was Saturday, March 3.

Unfortunately, Daddy was sick that day (and the day before) so he stayed home with Cana so Mommy and Adley could go.  Not the same - but we still had fun.

This is easily Adley's favorite day of the school year and she looks forward to it the other 11 months of the year.  This year's theme was Rowdy Rodeo and each child got a plastic cowboy hat and some trail mix to take home with them.  As always, the biggest attraction is the rented bounce-house and Adley took full advantage!
