Our Weekly Post - 4/18/2010
We had a wonderfully busy week. Daddy's birthday on Tuesday gave us reason to celebrate all week. We had a playdate Tuesday morning with Isabelle and Hannah and gorgeous weather to enjoy outside. On Friday, Adley enjoyed preschool and Daddy started a two-day conference. We had a playdate at our house on Saturday to round out the week.
Adley was a great help choosing the balloons, helping to wrap presents, and asking about the cake once every 5-10 minutes.
Adley likes the doors!
We play house. She invites us into her house, gives us the tour and then informs us that she has to go to the store and we should wait until she gets back. She then goes through many other doors until she arrives back where we started. Its a game worthy of repeating nearly every visit and usually affords Daddy some browsing time.

Rice Cereal for Cana - 4/6/2010
Can seemed to truly like the cereal on the first bowl. She didn't completely understand the concept of eating from a spoon but she opened her mouth for each spoonful. Several times she grabbed Mommy's hand and brought the spoon closer. Of course, she made all the required "What-is-this-stuff?" faces for the camera. And, when we were done with the trial she was overjoyed to see her bottle.
Our Weekly Post - 4/11/2010
The week following Easter was a good week for us as a family. We spent more time with Daddy, more time outdoors and we caught up on all our peripheral Easter festivities.
On Monday we SLEPT IN. On Tuesday, the girls woke up to their Easter hats full of goodies. Cana lunched on rice cereal for the first time (more on that later) and Daddy was able to spend time with Adley and her Mega Chalk. On Thursday, Mommy solved the nap-time dilemma (see below) and on Saturday we finally colored our Easter eggs.
