Trick or Treat in the Rain

The cold and rain were no match for these three.  They were on a mission.

And then it was home for some nice warm soup for supper!

Pumpkin Party

Pumpkin Party at Bethany for Kindergarten and Preschool students and their families.

Cana enjoyed playing with all of her friends. 

Simeon enjoyed all the games that involved throwing (bean bags, plastic ducks, etc.)

Adley colored some scarecrows with her friends before we all moved on to pumpkin decorating.

A Week in Pictures

Math Night

Math Night at school for Grades 1-3.

We had a lot of fun visiting as many stations as we could.

First there was chocolate to sample and vote for your favorite.  The results were displayed in a bar graph.  Different stations focused on measuring, weighing, finding the area, and building structures.  Another room used candy code to help students practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Pizza lunch after church on Sunday then home for more time to hang out with GrandpAl and GrandMary.

The day started out cool and breezy but warmed up.  A perfect day for riding trains.

Cana's trip to the Jonomac Apple Orchard

First kindergarten field trip included a video about the care of the apple orchard, a walking tour of the trees and a cup of feed for the sheep and goats.  We also ate lunch at the orchard and played on the hay bales and in the corn silo.  It was a cold day to be outside but the kids had a great time with her friends!
