Dinner with Daddy

A quick photo before opening our one present.

Simeon opened this Disney firework projector that looks like a blaster gun.  He's wearing the 3D glasses too which match his outfit quite well.

Filling the bags with sand was lots of fun and messy too.  Fortunately we already went to church and were headed home after this.

Christmas Class Parties

Kindergarten Christmas class party. 

We provided the craft, cupcake paper Christmas trees courtesy of Pinterest.  

Cana played pin the nose on the snowman, snowman slam, bag toss, and Christmas bingo.
This was the sugar-rush finish with a decorate your own sugar cookie station. 
A good time was had by all.  

Meanwhile in third grade....

Adley enjoyed her own self-decorated sugar cookie while watching a movie. 

The third graders played several Minute-to-Win-It games including:

stick as many post-its on your partner as you can...

balance dice on the end of a tongue depressor...
move cotton balls from one bowl to another blindfolded!
They made us a button decorated Christmas tree ornament as well.
Oh, and ate lots of sugar too!

Christmas Program at Bethany

Our ladies all dressed and ready for their Christmas program. 

St. Lucia Day

Kindergartners learned about the Swedish tradition of St. Lucia Day.

Grammy's Visit

After 10 days of hanging out with Grammy its time to say goodbye.

Grandma came to visit to play AND to help:

•  celebrate Cana's birthday
• help with Cana's Frozen birthday party 
• attend Simeon's preschool Christmas Program
• volunteer in the kindergarten classroom
• drive for the 3rd grad field trip to the Nutcracker
• pack lunches
• make dinner
• run carpool
